General Terms and Conditions for Wholesale Customers (B2B)

1. BASIC DEFINITIONS AND TERMS

Mouldings are identified by a unique code which appears on all documentation related to the product.

This code comprises the following components:
 

• Group: A letter that indicates the product group (e.g., K – covers, D – D-shaped mouldings, P – skirting boards, R – angle mouldings, RV – inside corner mouldings, KR – dowel mouldings, etc.)
• Profile Dimension: A number that represents the covering capacity of the moulding, measured in millimetres (mm).
• Species of Wood: DB – Oak, BK – Beech, SM – Spruce, BO – Pine, if no wood species is specified, it is pine
• Finish: d-lak– Lacquered veneer, f – Foil, followed by the decor colour
• Length: A slash (/) signifies the length of the moulding in centimetres (cm).
• Type:
  • - (Not Marked) – Solid wood moulding in standard fixed lengths
  • nast. – Length- or side-set glued ("FJ") moulding in standard fixed lengths.
  • pd – Continuous length, solid wood mouldings ranging from 180 to 400cm.

2. PRODUCT PRICES

Product prices are based on the current valid price list. The price list for products held in stock is available upon request. All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT.

3. PACKAGING OF GOODS

Typically, mouldings of fixed lengths are packaged in sets of 25, while veneered mouldings are packaged in sets of 10. Continuous length mouldings (/pd) are packed in either 50 or 100 standard metres. Different profile types are packaged by wrapping both ends in stretch foil.

For solid mouldings of continuous lengths (/pd), the variance in individual bundle lengths is approximately 10-15 cm. The standard length of the mouldings in the bundles ranges from 180 to 400 cm.
On request, we can apply barcodes to the mouldings, excluding custom-made products. Depending on the delivery volume and the type of moulding, goods may be shipped on pallets. Shipping pallets are charged to the recipient as non-returnable at a price of 205 CZK, excluding VAT, per piece.

We fulfil the obligation to pay fees for the take-back, recovery, and recycling of packaging materials by joining the integrated EKO-KOM system, as per the Packaging Act 125/97 Coll., under the identification number EK-00050080.

4. ORDERING GOODS

Orders can only be placed through our online shop,SPALENSKY.com or via email at odbyt@spalensky.cz no later than 10 a.m. on the day of the shipping date.

4.1 Order requirements

• Buyer's address, including registration number and VAT number.
• Delivery address.
• Exact marking of ordered goods (code)
• Species of wood.
• Quantity in pieces by whole packages (for continuous lengths, in metres). On rare occasions, it's possible to order a quantity other than the usual packing. In such cases, a surcharge of 50 CZK per item and type will apply.
• Requested delivery date if the goods are to be delivered by a delivery service outside normal delivery times.
• Payment method.
• Contact telephone number for possible consultation on quantity, quality, and terms.
• Customer's signature

4.2 Dispatch and Shipping Dates
 

The dispatch and delivery dates are determined by our sales representative and vary based on customer location and order.

5. DELIVERY METHODS AND PRICES IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

Freight charges will apply as follows:

Delivery is conducted by our own vehicles or via DSV, GLS, and Fofr. We reserve the right to choose the carrier.


6. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment can be made by cash or by bank transfer, both free of charge. Please note that your bank may charge a fee for the transfer. We do not charge any additional fees for payment processing.

New customer:
New customers are required to pay cash on delivery for goods from the stock range. For express collection service, cash on delivery is collected upon goods delivery.
Regular customer:
Regular customers are required to pay via bank transfer with a 14-day payment term, unless otherwise agreed.

7. STORAGE OF PRODUCTS

Solid products are suitable for both interior and exterior use. However, they should not be exposed to excessive moisture before use, as it may cause unevenness and colour changes to the mouldings. For exterior use, mouldings should have a suitable finish.
Products with a finish (veneer, foil, etc.) and products adjustable in length or sideways by gluing are intended for interior use only. They must not be exposed to excessive humidity (above 60%). Unfinished wooden products and goods sold must not be exposed to direct sunlight during storage. We recommend storing them in dry and covered areas with a relative humidity not exceeding 50%, and handling them gently during storage.

8. DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY

Our goods (wooden mouldings) do not fall under the category of specified products according to Act No. 22/1997 Coll. and Government Regulation No. 163/2002 Coll., and therefore do not require a declaration of conformity. However, we are more than happy to provide technical data sheets for individual components (e.g., adhesives, foils, etc.) upon request.


9. CUSTOM PRODUCTION - PRODUCTION OF ATYPICAL MOULDINGS

Custom orders can be placed via the CUSTOM ORDER FORM , or by sending a completed FORM (pdf, 51kB) to zakazky@spalensky.cz

Required information for custom orders includes:

1. Contact details (customer's address, product delivery locations, email and phone)
2. Desired shape of the moulding (a sketch, picture, sample, etc.).
3. Species of wood.
4. Quality (allowed and non-allowed defects).
5. Type (solid, fj, fixed or continuous length - see point No.1).
6. Required quantity – Please note we reserve the right to fulfil orders within a quantity tolerance of -5% to +10% of the total quantity ordered.
7. Date and method of delivery.

At least 50% of the total price of the custom-made goods must be paid in advance before production begins. The precise amount of the deposit will be determined when the customer agrees on the price of the order, as well as the delivery date. Production commencement is contingent upon receipt of the deposit in the supplier's account.
